FOr social security I would use 6.2% of what you made up to $90K, after 90K you dont have to pay SS tax. For medicare use 1.45%, in your case I would use a tax professional to do my taxes. You probably could use the help and it would save you a headache. The problem with short-term trading is that you pay taxes at the tax rate you regular income is taxed at.
