Birthplace deep south? no...

(LMAO... to my knowledge it's all deep south: I'm not going to tell ANY SOUTHERNER he lives in the shallow south or near south.)

but special in my heart & deep heritage shaping my values... and turned/returned to those roots ASAP once of age as they say!

One of my favorite spots down Riceboro way years ago (late 60s/70s & long gone?) was the Swamp Guinea... for unbelievable seafood and Brunswick stew.

And NOTHING beat Moreland's BBQd Goat over in Dougherty County in the good ol' days... or the stuffed lobster at the old Davis Brother's (both now long gone probably).

Not familiar with Sprayberry's (too far north...lol) but it sounds like a solid plan!

I'd be overjoyed to see Dr. Walker deliver on this dream for all of us... I'd book a trip to one of my old spots still in existence: Los Caracoles, Barcelona...

and show my wife a meal to remember: the paella, a pitcher of freshly blended San Gria (with a pound of fresh fruit in it), and the especiale dessert... flan, scoop of vanilla ice cream, and praline crumble all over it! THE #1 place I'd choose to return to with her!
