yeah Merril Lynch sux...they give me 30 free trades per month, but since november of 09 they wont let you buy any stocks under a dollar..penny stock pretty much, unless you have 30 grand in other stocks, and then you can buy penny stocks but only up to 10% of the total portfolio..they even blocked my account untill i sold all of my penny stocks i had including some 2.3 mil of BFHJ just so i can reactivate my account...i still use it for buying other big name stocks and i deal with the good ol scottrade for BFHJ and other pennies i have ... and yeah to get those 30 free trades you need to maintain checking account at bank of america of 25 grand at anytime..and after the 30 trades its 14 bucks for a transaction...stick with scottrade if u can or the rest...
