Showers over the Coast Range and Cascades will decrease throughout the day. Fresh snow is being reported at all Cascade ski resorts. Anywhere from 6" to 8" of snow fell overnight in all locations in the mountains above 3000 feet. However, the snow level dipped to 1200 feet at times.

Today, gradual clearing takes over in the valleys. Daytime highs will be near 47 degrees. Tonight, partly cloudy and cooler. Overnight lows near 33. Tomorrow and Thursday will be dry and sunny with daytime highs near 50 degrees.

Computer weather models show rain increasing on Friday..and continuing at times all weekend. Next week is also looking more wet than dry.. but that part of the forecast will likely change.
