I don't agree with your characterization of the issues with CCME as just a change of perception. If the issues raised by the shorts bear truth then that should be viewed as a change in fundamentals and not just perception.

In the case of RINO, the shorts were right and that directly impacted the fundamental valuation.

When you say the shorts manufactured fear you imply the shorts are misstating facts which at this point may or may not prove to be true.

The shorts have raised some valid questions which if true go far beyond perceptions.
