You think news is pending? When has news mattered. Tayrona's 30 million dollar committment did nothing the day it came out. Heck we closed in the red that day. The plan took a really unsuspected nasty snag when Snipes went to prison. Contracts that were finalized had to be honored in some shape or form in my opinion. You can't get a committment from an actor for 6 weeks of shooting, then cancel the dates without compenstation for lost opportunities to that actor. Sorry Joey, oh yeah...you probably got my money for nothing. "Woooahh!!!"

The selling is either to satisfy default compensation or someone with a large position close to the company selling out because this thing is headed back to square one...a stack of scripts and a big dream. Rinse and Repeat is the usual steps for these type of pinks. It's conjecture on my part, sort of like the "Calvary" will be arriving soon, but I'm entitled since the company is retreating to a happy place and not responding. Yep, all I'm seeing is I helped finance a $12,000 casting couch at this point.
