The above also covers the US and helps explain Bob’s statement from his paper; “Our objective is to become one of the first solar module manufacturers to offer a solar electricity solution that competes on a non-subsidized basis with the price of retail electricity in key markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.”
Think the IRSES program would allow for exchange of information while retaining proprietary rights, (as in TQDs, printing process, and etc.) The exchange program will be max 1 yr. As the purpose is to help facilitate the exchange of technology, how long would a QTMM team member need?
Current research could be fair game to researchers or remain under the auspices of the KI. Suspect the host country of the KI would have some incentive(s) to establish and produce there, (jobs/economy/needs). That could help explain similar or parallel lines of product development. Am very glad SS already had some patents and agreements in order.
Like other members of the Tank, I remain excited about the technology and its potential and am looking forward to the near term future.
