I was just reading it and FYI for people who don't know this field, directional drilling is a waste of time in the field. Only a couple people have tried it in East Texas and came up short.

Look, if you drill a vertical well, your fluid level will be high enough to put it on a submersible pump at a rate of 1,000 bbls a day and not pump off. Even on the south end. No need to waste the time and drill horizontally. If you undershoot the "oiled" Woodbine, you will only pump water. Can't fix it either. On a vertical, you can run a liner, log, and perf. You will still have plenty to pump up.

Do these guys need a consultant?
