Panama City is in its 39th day without a viable water delivery system working due to the flooding.Do you not think that the government is doing everything humanly possible to get the system back on line? Experts have flown in from all over the world to help and still people of all walks of life have to wait behind a truck to get enough to drink each day, let alone bathe.
Management undoubtedly had to make some adjustments to operations due to the weather. At least the temporary repairs they put in place after the over topping last summer held and there were no further issues. They get an "A" in my book for just continuing to operate during this time. The rest of us were just huddling on high ground and drinking heavily.
Let's make it really simple again: The gold is there, we will dig it up, we will sell it, we will make money. When in doubt...repeat that three times, have another Balboa. The sky is not falling...we are over half way through Q3.
Of a more serious nature...the government has ordered the brewery to stop bottling and canning beer, but rather to can/bottle water for the desperate population!!!! Now that is a crisis!!!
And Jal, before you start harping on the Panamanian unethical way of doing business...please take a look at the US Congress since 2006. I think their approval rating is about 11% and they only pass significant legislation after mid-night, behind closed doors, on Christmas Eve!!!LOL!!!
