Could be that $40,000 could easily be made if "sellable" quality diamonds are excavated and accumulated. Show the accumulated diamonds to a banker/financier and more than enough money to export. Sierra Leone has been the source for high-quality diamonds right?

No refining needed, easily sorted by manual labor, easily excavated.
