From June 9th, 2010
"Due to calls and e-mails from shareholders concerning gold production reporting dates I will reevaluate and make changes to the policy of reporting production numbers twice a year for the upcoming mining season."
The previously announced report dates were unacceptable to enough shareholders that John changed his original plan.
Now that it's changed and we get monthly updates, it seems like we aught to at least allow him the latitude to choose the timing based on when he deems there is enough information to report.
Can't have it both ways! We can't selectively pick and choose the scraps and tidbits we want and discard the rest.
Personally I like the monthly update version far better than the twice a year update.
