Users of Norton Firewall/Antivirus will be having problems accessing the site, following Norton's latest update. Please see this thread for more info

ADVFN.COM Norton Problem Update :

On January 12th 2011, Norton released an update that blocks access to URLS containing P.PHP This update Affects Nortons Internet Security 2009-2011, and Nortons 360 and prevents users of these products from accessing most of ADVFN, and other large sites such as facebook and many other popular websites.

ADVFN have notified Norton about the problem, they have instructed us to tell our users to contact their support department and report the problem.

Please contact Norton and let them know you are not able to access ADVFN.COM urls containing P.PHP and FACEBOOK.COM urls or any other website that uses P.PHP via one of the following phone numbers :

When you speak with their support team, please mention ADVFN.COM and P.PHP, this will help them classify and fix your problem quickly.

Disabling
It is possible for Norton users to DISABLE this block, please contact Norton for advice on how to do this.



This problem is caused by Nortons, not ADVFN. Norton could not provide us with an estimate of when they will fix this. We hope to have a work-around in place shortly.
