Jaybeaux, here's the info you requested.

My work computer uses Windows 7 Enterprise
It is 32 bit
Dell ControlPoint software is not on my computer.
The IT dept can configure my TPM remotely.
I have not yet found out if they are using ERAS. When/if I do I will pass it on.

Cooler....I too have a new Optiplex 980.

Is your machine 32 or 64 bit?

Since you mention Bit Locker, I assume that you're running Windows Professional. Correct?

Have you looked through the Dell ControlPoint Software yet? You can find it by clicking on what I still call the Start Button, All Programs, Dell ControlPoint, Advanced.....at this point, you should see some Wave software.

It would also be interesting to know if you can go through Dell ControlPoint and get to the Wizards....and Ultimately Embassy Security Center (ESC)

Do you know if your IT group is using the TPM to gain acccess to your LAN?
