My take would be that if one guy heard it, or made the connection, other guys did too. It's not such a stretch. If you never heard of Nstic and discovered the President was going to announce support, you just might Google it.
If you did, you would undoubtedly find the site where people were asked to make public comments. If you went there to see what it was about, you would discover posts by SKS, myself, and I believe some other Wavoids scattered about. Huuummmm, Wave has double or tripled and gone from 20 cents to a couple of bucks in the last two years? Maybe, I'd better investigate..... Maybe I should see what's the relationship between NSA and Wave?? Maybe, this NSA Trusted Computing Conference is more important than I thought?
So I won't say what caused the jump, but I also wouldn't doubt that somebody is putting together some things. In fact, what if they just read Awk's posts. If you google, you'll note posts on this board come up more and more frequently. Of course, that might just be google keeping track of my personal posts and Ihub when I enter a search. After all, they know more about me than I know about myself. In any case, more people will make the Nstic connection now that it's been in the financial press. The google trend on "Wave Systems" is still very small, but not as small as last year, and undoubted smaller than next.
