Like I said elite: "Can Stem Cells Help Dick Cheney?" It has likely been their personal fountain of youth piggy bank for years! Finding 1 poor or middle-class person out of the hundreds of million ain't a good statistic. Find tens of thousands or a couple of million out of 300 million and you might have a better statistic. However, reporting the "one poor person" out of all the people you know ain't cutting it and is a rather poor statistic. Leukemia is curable with a stem cell transplant and the numbers don't lie; 2 million were diagnosed in 2010 and 2 million will be diagnosed in 2011. If the cure was known to last years 2 million and made available it would be all over the news and more people would be talking about it. The information has been suppressed for someones benefit. I say the wealthy.

Thanks for those responses but if it walks like a duck and smells like a duck and is quacking like a duck then it's a duck. The rich and well to do have more likely been hoarding the adult stem cells for their needs, the needs of family and close business associates for years. Washington insiders have openly declared it "America's Best Kept Secret" - from whom? The 90% who are dying looking for an 8/8 HLA BMT is who. Those folks didn't know a 4/6 HLA allogeneic stem cell treatment option was available or they would have chose the door that has sign affixed: "Extended Playzone to Life."

Does anyone else have a lone ranger poor person that benefited from an adult stem cell transplant or received information at the hospital about donating the stem. Those stories are a rare anomaly not an everyday occurrence.

Lance Armstrong beat testicular cancer on 2000. A regular Joe went to get the same procedure following Lance's renewal on life from the same doctors and that regular Joe was turned away. Why?
