Well, when over $100m in assets is exchanging hands on a daily basis in this investment vehicle, I fail to see how or why anyone would play it if that were true.

So you're saying despite another financial crisis, further waves of home defaults, Option ARM '11 resets, State and Local municipalities losing money from revenues (will undoubtedly need a bailout, right?)
