Whatscooking- several years ago when becoming extremely annoyed with the lack of communication from FH and especially after learning of Cetek's involvement with Wilson Turbopower I had an idea. I contacted Andersen at WTP and quickly discovered Andersen to be a a real outgoing talkative sort of guy. It did help that Andersen was looking for private investors for his WTP and this further opened up a dialogue.
After confirming the relationship between Cetek and WTP (although I did not know the full extent other than it relalted to the ceramic heat exchangers) I called the Poughkeepsie Journal to see if they had an interest in publsing a story about one of their local companies. I was told they had been trying for years but could get nowhere with FH.
This is when I suggested they instead first contact Andersen directly at WTP knowing he would give them a story which he did. The real sad part of this saga is when the local newspaper tried to obtain additional info from hilal about his company he refused. Al least the story ran anyway but it could have been so much more.
My contacts at the Poughkeepsie journal back then were
Editor- Irwin Goldberg igoldberg@poughkeepsiejournal.com
copy writer craig wolfe cwolf@poughkeepsiejournal.com
Not sure if these fellas are still working there.
My point is even when FH was offered free publicity he still turned it down! That being said I still believe we should keep at it and all ideas are good and should be tried. Nicey nice to FH, power play, thru the side door, over and under. Even recruit the know it all Round if need be.
