I became aware of P. Leslie Hammond because of the Beneficial Owners filing for Pepper Rock Resources that listed a company called Gravhaven Limited along with Med Ventures Ltd as the controllers of the Kent Ltd.






Following Gravhaven Limited led me to Paul Leslie Hammond who has a fairly colorful history


Gravhaven Limited (Same address as in the Pepper Rock beneficial owners list) is listed as an officer along with FRANK N ANJAKOS for this Arizona Business Entity - MEDUSA SENSORS, LLC

The company then became BANCROFT URANIUM INC and the new CEO became P. Leslie Hammond (Paul Leslie Hammond)

Baines Sure called it correctly that Bancroft Uranium would never actually go on to do any of the things it was saying it would do - from the article:

Les Hammond, a former associate of Thai fugitive Rakesh Saxena, has become controlling shareholder of another bulletin board company called Bancroft Uranium Inc.

Bancroft is proposing to redevelop a decades-old uranium project near Haliburton, Ont. This has caused much upset among local residents who fear environmental destruction and water contamination.

In an attempt to allay public concerns, Hammond has contracted Greenspirit Strategies Ltd., headed by Greenpeace founder Patrick Moore, to handle public relations.

Hammond, a Victoria chartered accountant, worked as Saxena's right-hand man in the 1990s when Saxena was apprehended by RCMP on charges that he embezzled $88 million from the Bangkok Bank of Commerce.

At one point, Hammond was charged with obstruction of justice, but was eventually acquitted. He also declared bankruptcy, but has since been discharged. Saxena is under house arrest fighting extradition to Thailand.

Hammond's controversial background is causing much unease among local residents. But I don't think they need to worry. In my view, it is highly unlikely that Hammond will ever develop a mine.
