I've never done a stop loss, I have only used the Limit. I guess I would be afraid it would drop and stock would sell then go back up and I would have to pay more for it. Alot of this stuff I hear people do on here is scarey to me. That guy who does that flip, I'd be too afraid I'd sell some stocks then it keeps going up and it would cost me alot more to get them back. Alittle to scarey and having my 1M makes me know I will be set to take care of myself & help my daughter and grandbabies when USOG hits that $2 mark, cause I can sell half and leave the other half for my daughter when I'm gone. Taking care of my daughter & grandbabies is my main goal. Of course, like the ideal not having to worry about my checking balance when I need something also. I guess I still have alot of chicken in me for that stuff right now.
