Long time lurker here with a tax delimma...hope someone can help me out. If I understand the "wash rule" correctly I cannot sell my wamuq shares today for a loss to take advantage on my 2010 taxes and then purchase them back next week correct? I must wait for a 30 day time frame before I can buy them back? Of course I realize that this won't work as the THJMW will have to rule before Jan 31st.

Happy New Year to everyone and thank you for the board leaders for all of the DD they have contributed and those of you who have attended the hearings. I only wish I lived closer to attend myself!

I hope it will only take 500 shares to purchase a new car for my girlfriend next Valentines day! lol
