Won't give up hope, but think all your expectations running high on settlement payout..

You all must look to past case's of infringement and what they generated for infringement cases.
One major one to look at would be (Interdigital Vs. Nokia). It would be a good evaluation on current case. Let me give you some idea of case. Infringement was a patent called TDMA and 29 others.

Tdma.. Time Division Multiple Access revolutionized the Cell Phone industry. Example it turned One cell phone line into 10 to 100 lines. A carrier now would only need one phone number for multiple cell phones on one line. It was extraordinary and changed the cell phone industry. This is why cell phones boomed. How did it do it? It slowed time fractions of a second for multiple conversations to take place. Later came CDMA which used a code before and after and made 1 line into 1000's. To make it short...
Fact is I believe final settlement was 230 some million with Nokia.

I do believe though that any # on settlement is a start. The rest will fall for other infringers. It will also help in the state case to prove to a jury if the case goes to trial. Diac was holding back company all along the way?
Any how check out case with Interdigital vs. Nokia it's a example of what you may see in settlement if any. Happy New Year All!!
