NEARLY all physicians that I have worked around

over my career have been control freaks in a nice sense of the word...

that is because they imagine themselves to excel above others in making decisions, etc.

If the doc is an exception to this (and I surely do hope he is), then I would further hope that he has hand-picked some of his peers and juniors who have demonstrated that they are above the crowd in oncology.

However, Dr. Walker has failed to inform the rank and file of his shareholders of any of this...

and while it is nice that he has a few shareholders he seems to confide in...

(who supposedly share much that he says here on this board if one chooses to believe everything that is posted here...lol)

it is ridiculous to think he would...

1) confide so freely with each and everyone who called him,

2) take the time to repeat information to everyone who calls rather than PR a few things or state information on a website,

3) and think that such cloudy communication would keep shares of HIS BABY from slowly drifting toward ZERO worth!

Since the A/S & O/S are not into the billions, I can safely assume that dilution of the company is NOT Dr. Walker's primary source of income, but as an independently prosperous man...

he ALSO does not need to be in any hurry to make his 112M+ shares of ONCO worth even a penny anytime soon.

As for how informed I should be... it seems evident to me that I should learn to watch story/concept stocks far longer before BUYING them than I have in the last few years.

ONCO is still a long damn way from doing much or needing to be purchased in a portfolio... guess that means that all here are stuckees for now in a company that has potential, but little progress in share value.

Luckily I have two other stocks bought way too soon and have been watched for years... the good news for them is that it's looking like 2011 will be THE YEAR for one, or both!
