There is a lot of conferencing as well as EBT's (exam before trial). A lot of civil cases are settled prior to trial. That being said , this is a hearing, the Judge will encourage them to come to an agreement if at all possible. The unknown for us is the facts and merit of the case. As I said, a trial is counter-productive for all involved.
