Cryo-Cell files lawsuit against Cord Blood America Comtex News Network "Datamonitor"
Dec 20, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Cryo-Cell International has filed a lawsuit against Cord Blood America, Inc. , or CBAI, an umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation company. However, CBAI believes that it is an attempt to inhibit the pending deal between Cryo-Cell Mexico and CBAI.
"Cryo-Cell Mexico is an independent entity. We regard this suit as entirely without merit and simply an attempt to block a legitimate acquisition. We are confident of our position in this matter and will see this through to a favorable conclusion," said Matthew Schissler , Cord Blood America's Chairman, CEO and co-founder.
