Interview 8/04

Here is info from the interview in 8/04 when Kelly was not at his best then in his own words...

Kelly responds to wallst.net interview concerns. I wrote Kelly asking him about the interview and my concerns. He gave me permission to post his reply:

"David:

I appreciate the concern, but there's no reason to fret.

I wouldn't say that I had a bad day; I had a "too much" week (or month, for that matter).

Here's what happened with the interview. As you know, I've done a lot of these, but I still like to take a few minutes before the interviews to get my numbers straight, compose my thoughts, and get my game face on.

I assume it's pretty clear that the board's been working very hard on corporate strategy for the relatively short term. Now that we have the right products, and they are finding acceptance in the marketplace, we sincerely believe this company is positioned for a move off the OTCBB. There have been tons of board strategy meeetings with various advisors as we examine our options on what needs to be done, and when, to make that a reality. On that day, I was totally immersed in something all morning, and Kimberly was holding my calls so I could concentrate on the project at hand. I totally forgot about the interview until Kimberly interupted me to tell me the interviewer was on the phone.

Boom, there I was, totally cold. And then he starts off with the "tell me your vision" question while my brain was still gearing up. He wasn't the best of interviewers, I was mentally unprepared, and it never got off the ground.

Somedays you sparkle, and some days you don't. There's nothing to be read into the interview, or my demeanor, other than that.

Relax, the board's treating me fine, and I want to be crystal clear about this: I've never been more bullish about the company, and we've never had a better week than last week.
