I don't know about the "average" person, but as a long term chronic pain sufferer, if I knew a potential pain relief device was available at the pet store rather than at the drug store, I would have no problem whatsoever driving to the local PETCO to buy one. FDA be damned. More power to BIEL and to hell with the waiting for approval. It seems like a great move to me. jmho
