stock_peeker, The crash I was refering to was for the market and not just GFCI. It may not happen, but things sure do not look good. If the year were to end right now, this would be the worst year ever for me in the market and the year is only 2 1/2 months old. If I can't make money in the market, I have to think that there are a lot of other people losing money too. Also, I have been the market since 1968. So, I have gone through the 1970's bear market and 1987. and there was a bad spell in the early 1990's, I think 1992. Whenever I feel like somebody has beat me over the head with a 2 x 4 in the market, I find it is best to build up cash. I think that you remember me doing this last summer. We did not have a crash then, but I think that I saved a lot of money by being in cash then. In the last 2 1/2 months of last year, I re-entered the market to where I was about 50% invested and made 105% in that short period of time. I got this same feeling in March of 2000 and in Sept of 1987 just before the crash in Oct. This just may be a lull in the market and not the start of a crash. If so, I can always re-enter. I have a "no comission" account so it doesn't cost anything to be cautious. As for playing options, no I don't, but I probably should.
