Technology opens computing to the handicapped
IBM researchers have developed a mouse that is unaffected by a shaking
hand. Intended for people with such conditions as Parkinson's Disease, it
ignores shaking and follows the user's main trend. Meanwhile, researchers
have implanted a chip in the brain of a paraplegic. In allows the man to
perform simple computer operations with his thoughts.
