it's the fact that the truck crashed in the race at daytona
that got them the 2nd race in atlanta (at no cost) apparently
that is SOP with these sponsorships ..

for new eyes .. event was early 2010
it was a co-sponsorship between expo
and so. candle .. and it was for one
race (that turned into 2)

as an actual expo sor .. i too viewed it
more from the *exposure* aspect to folks
from THORSPORT and MENARDS .. of which there
is a very nice *connection* and like you veno
believe that *entree* may well result in aspects
that are positive to the co. in due course

it also clearly showed the synergy with some of
expo's other clients/customers including *stanley/B&D*
