I have to disagree..

"It was unquestionably a complete and total waste of money"..

I do know the reasoning for the sponsorship and it wasn't done to bring in retail buyers..It was done to gain interest from the retail stores to get placement of etc into them..That ship hasn't sailed yet..You have no idea if by sponsoring the trucks that companies such as LOWES or Menards are now waiting for production of etc to increase to the point of placement..

As I said when we first heard about the sponsorship..The fact that JD got to be there for several days was great exposure for etc..So IMO and from what I have learned since..When a company like Menards..with their retail side in play..asks if your company would be a sponsor..you don't say no..It also doesn't matter if in the race your truck wins or crashes..It does matter very much if a company can't get a sponsor to enter the race to begin with..I have been around racing for many years and know that side of racing well..The..you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours..is the name of the game in that business..

Again..the company has to be able to produce the cabinets in considerable numbers before companies like LOWES..HD and Menards will begin product placement..I believe that EXPO was getting closer to that point before the delay..I expect to still see etc go to regional companies and to companies like LOWES..HD..Menards..IKEA and more as production increases..

When..etc does get into one of the big retail stores..I would bet we see more sponsorships happening..Once the products are ready to be placed would be the point that advertising becomes important for the retail buyer side and not before..GLTY...veno

To each their own..do your own DD..and the longs win here..All others are non shareholders or flippers..
