I wasted too much time in the last election hating Bush, someone on this site pointed out that that only served to alienate more people and push them towards Bush's corner. Now I accept the Pres for his limitations and don't find him so offensive as a human being, but still having difficulty accepting this is the best we were offered and think he lacks some of the dignity of the position, but suppose he does represent a good profile of a cross section of America and the current mentality.
My own feelings aside about Bush and the Neocons, if whatever is happening results in freedom and democracy for more people, I will give credit where credit is due and yet continue to be amazed that anything these guys do is successful.
They may be accidentally changing the world, their ability to plan doesn't seem to have been one of their strong points
