I live in Canada and one important note, Canada was not really effected during the economic crisis and for the little slowdown that did occur the Canadian Market was one which most countries tried and are still trying to duplicate, well we recovered very quickly and one thing I know is that our Housing Market has never been better....not to mention in Canada the Natives have a shit load of Cash! I live in Ontario I my house and most houses here are up 10% in value as we speak! Vancouver is a Growing fast and small market houses are needed!
