Hawk... I hear ya...

Actually, I had another company in mind... though Eagle/Clearworks will do.

Bottom line: Wave has no at-risk capital here or any that I can discern. Endavo/NextBend has at its core folks like Tom Orr and Mark Hewitt and Paul Hamm and some other SOLID folks. Around that core are arrayed some equally talented and connected folks, HP's Steven Squires (have a look at HIS background... Whoa...)

I don't understand enough about the possibilities of Endavo's IPTV taking off to know if NextBend's EMBASSY-carrying UniStac will take right off with it. But, here's what I like: I like the fact that INNOVATIVE folks are attempting to apply Wave IP and products in ways that COULD prove very successful. Maybe one of these "side bets" will pay off. (In the meantime, you've got the major game: trusted computing as defined by the TCG.)

Another note: NextBend is partnered with www.digitaldeck.com though there is no reciprocal mention on the DigitalDeck site.
