QSPW [$2.25] vs. QTMM [.08]...a Solar Start-up comparison:

Found this oddity while surfing tonite...the following consists of my [+/-] observations & the conclusions I drew from it & is all IMO;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
QSPW is a BB stock who's last PPS is at $2.25 w/a +/-142M O/S, yet when looking closer, it's very hard to see any justification for this. They have a start-up solar company, with 'claims' that they have a superior disruptive tech that exceeds efficiencies in silicon or thin-film & uses no semi-conductor tech whatsoever (not CSP). Their company was formerly a software producer & they have a very limited number of people inside the company w/any solar or scientific background. Near as I can tell, the only thing they have going for them is a (mysterious) patent that they list as a $1.5M asset & some venture capital backing. Although they claim to have a 'Proof-of-Concept' behind them, they are 'paying' (+/-$180G's this year) a sub-contractor (a relatively unknown university) to research & develop their proprietary tech. Other than their VC capital, they have zero revenues & a notable $2.4M accumulated loss. They still have the 'Going Concern' warnings attached to their filings. Their website & related info leaves much to be desired in the way of 'transparency' in regards to the exact nature their proprietary tech...'exactly what' they're planning on selling is a mystery to me but whatever it is, it sounds like they've got a very long way to go before they see any revenues, if ever. Of note; Their charts show them as having had a +/-$5.--IPO starting price. I could probably find more to note but I think you probably get the idea by now. They don't appear to be much different (in substance) than a myriad of green start-up companies, claiming to be on the verge of saving the world. But then, talk comes cheap...that's why it isn't worth anything ('Talk', that is).

QTMM, @ .08cents, by comparison....
Has an O/S slightly above 80M as I recall. They too, claim to have superior disruptive tech but unlike the above, are much more forthcoming in the way of 'transparency'...it's all about TQDots & their abilities to multi-task across a number of tech sectors. QTMM has the same 'Going Concern' warnings & they have a similar accumulated loss. They have little in the way of assets, no revenues and they've accepted zero$ VC & are awaiting approval of their primary patent.
However, unlike the above; QTMM has an O/S slightly above 80M & was formed for the express purpose of exploiting the unique abilities of TQDots & is backed-up by a staff of highly qualified professionals, several of whom, are acclaimed award-winning scientists in their respective fields. These scientists are backed-up by several highly accredited universities around the world, at no cost to QTMM, other than licensing & royalties, should their endeavors prove fruitful.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
All-in-all, by comparison, the it appears to me that the only reasons QSPW has such a high PPS is that they are on the BB & have acquired their patent (whatever 'that' might be ?) and have VC funding. But when comparing 'apples for apples', QSPW is using their VC$ to pay for the needed research...+/-$180G's per year to one obscure university....QTMM is bypassing this expense/funding tactic by having their BOD/in-house Scientists act in a collaborative capacity w/a number of high-value academic institutions. They are able to make use of research facilities that are 2nd-to-none & appear to have teams of doctoral students helping to perfect their tech. If by comparison, QTMM had to pay for this research like QSPW, the tab wouild most likely exceed $800K to $1M/year [4 universities X $200K+/yr.].

Given all this; QSPW is either highly 'over-priced' or QTMM is severely 'under-priced' or perhaps, 'both'. Based on this data, I should think that once QTMM is a BB (or NASDAQ/AMEX) listed company and their patent is awarded to them, QTMM could have similar (upwardly proportional) PPS support, especially if the comparative expense funding is rationalized in the same manner as I outlined here. With all three in-line, my guess is $7.-- at on-set

That's the way "I" see it anyway.
