Will China / India make a difference?
Once you let capitalism out of the bottle, there's no putting it back.
Just remember it will be the new cars and houses sold to the new middle class in these coutnries that will drive the demand and prices for these base metals.
India I can see taking this new economy and running with it. China is a harder question to answer since it communist. But judging by some of the reports of workers there demanding higher salaries, I would think it may tough even for them to hold back the increasing demand.
