ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwire - 11/11/10) - F3 Technologies, Inc. (Pinksheets:FTCH - News) announced today that the song "Hurricane" by Coles Whalen, an early content partner with F3's FargoTube music and entertainment service, was featured in this week's episode of "Venice: the Series," one of the internet's most successful "soap opera" dramas.

Coles Whalen and her label, Strange Records, began using FargoTube as their primary channel for direct online sales with the platform's launch in June 2010. Whalen's "tube" on the service has drawn notice from fellow musicians and received several hundred hits since the newest "Venice" episode became available Wednesday afternoon.

"Coles is a perfect example of the innovative, business-savvy artists who are fully utilizing FargoTube's fan site and music and video delivery capabilities," F3 Chief Operating Officer Paul Campbell said. "The platform helps artists manage the entire sales process, maximize profits and interact more directly with fans. Coles has a modern and aggressive approach to publicity and marketing, and her success in landing 'Hurricane' in this week's 'Venice' episode fits perfectly with her use of FargoTube, as fans have an immediate avenue to learn more about her, see her videos, and buy their favorite songs or album."

FargoTube is a groundbreaking platform that monetizes music and video while allowing fans to interact directly with their favorite artists and other fans, thus replacing the faceless sale of digital files with an exciting new interactive digital marketplace experience. Musicians and other artists pay nothing to upload their content, and receive 70 percent of the revenue that their content generates.

"Hurricane" sets the mood in Wednesday's final scene, a love scene between two of the series' main characters, Gina Brogno and Ani Martin, and then continues through the episode's end credits. The version of the song in Wednesday's show, which can be downloaded via FargoTube, is heavily electronic, with a throbbing bass line.

Set in the Los Angeles suburb of Venice Beach, the drama centers on Gina and her romantic, family and business relationships. Since debuting in December, "Venice" has received positive reviews from critics and built a substantial audience. Co-creator Crystal Chappell, who plays Gina, is well established in televised daytime drama, having starred in "Guiding Light," "Days of Our Lives" and "One Life to Live."
