With another listen I picked up more details during the CC's first Q & A re: the Lenovo customer in Europe..."a large consulting organization". The same one referenced in the opening remarks who wanted $300k worth of ERAS licenses on their last laptop order but Lenovo couldn't supply the SEDs. Could this be another of the Big Four audit firms? It's not PwC because they are known to not be using SEDs at the present time.
Each of the Big Four deploy a high number of PCs because most employees are issued corporate laptops.
Employees stats are shown in thousands (Deloitte is 170,000):
These are important customers to Wave in at least two respects:
1. Each firm deploys probably well more than 100k PCs (PwC= 150k), so their internal IT represents a lot of business to Wave.
2. Once their internal IT lock down their own corporate networks using SEDs and TPMs, the firms will promote Secure Computing to their enterprise customers, due in part to the greater security that cloud computing demands. Making cloud computing secure is important to the Big Four.
