I wish that I could agree with you. However, having been in law enforcement for almost 20 years, unfortunately I would have to disagree. However, where it is beneficial for both sides is that this is a civil trial and not a criminal trial where you have to show proof beyond a resonable doubt. Here, in all reality, all they have to do is provide their evidence and the jury is going to be sympathetic to one side or another. This is a "he said, she said" case from what I can see. (please don't get me wrong, I don't know all of the facts by any means) So if that is the case, being a civil trial, all that either side has to do is present their evidence and then get the sympathy of the jury. Juries, really have no love for the "single man" that is trying to take all of the money away from the "little" guy. If they can do that, then it is game over for Daic. Either way, for me it really doesn't matter. Unfortunately my time is very limited now, so either I get to live my last bit happy and comfortable, or I have no change and I don't leave much for my kids. So, again, unless you have something extremely compelling, why not just present facts as you see them in a non spiteful way?
