There is no hard evidence that there is not going to be Wave IP, in one way or the other, incorporated by Microsoft...
At the end of the day, what is important is that Wave is, or intends to be, at the epicenter of the Trusted Computing infrastructure. And, at this time, it is difficult to see that they would not be.
In any case, as the NGSCB component of Longhorn may not see the light of the day until 2007, I strongly recommend that everybody leave their emotions aside and wait until at least WinHec 2005 (April 25-27, 2005). Only then will we know how the industry is going to bridge the time from now until 2007...NGSCB as disussed in the past is dead!
