I don't know what happen to a post I sent out, I guess it got lost in the mail.
Edwards, the last time I was out there was a closed base and you had to have clearance to enter and unless you had permission to Photograph, as most Photojournalist have, it is against the law to photograph into a Military restricted area, especially Edwards.
For those of you that plan on sitting back and seeing the launch, just a point of reference, we flew into Edwards the first time on the dry lake bed, where most of this type of activities take place and we were 8 miles from the base and at least 10 mile from any roads.
It is also at least 75 miles from Las Vegas and not just a hop skip and a jump.
and last the Vehicle is 1/3 scale and going up to 55,000 feet at 10 miles you may not see much.
