Just a mis-alligned thought........concerning the 'one in a million chance' referenced in Popular Science. If the airline industry can design new airplanes, do all the necessary "what ifs" on computers, and then build it & get it to fly....what is keeping us from doing the same. I know the overall idea of keeping a strat aloft for 12-18 months seems a little futuristic, but so have many other breakthroughs. Has anyone any knowledge about the system or programs that might be in use relating to the design and/or operation of the strat?? TIA
