Is this crook going to get arrested every year for a multitude of crimes? Will he still get indicted for his role in the CMKX scam? Whatever the heck that role was. sheesh....

MCMURRAY MAN CHARGED WITH IDENTITY THEFT

Acting United States Attorney Robert S. Cessar announced today, December 29, 2009, that Vincent A. Locastro of McMurray, Pennsylvania, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of identity theft.

The nine-count indictment named Locastro, as the sole defendant.

According to indictment, Locastro used the name, date of birth and social security number of a person known to the grand jury to acquire nine car financing loans on luxury cars. The four banks involved lost more than $330,000.

Assistant United States Attorney Nelson P. Cohen, who presented the case to the grand jury, indicated that the law provides for a maximum total sentence per count of 15 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.

The Pennsylvania State Police and the United States Postal Inspection Service conducted the investigation leading to the indictment in this case.

An indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt. A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
