I am still struck by the facts that WAMU was not allowed to simply reorganize but had to be taken over quickly. Then the week following TARP was offered to all the rich firms whom did not even ask for it, nor needed it. WAMU would have been a great candidate for TARP monies to continue to allow it to operate. Others in this country and they all know who they are did not want a WAMU to reach as big as they were and so it is that they prevailed so far in this mess. I have always said a crook is a crook no matter how rich or poor they are. Justice will prevail to that regard, otherwise there is no law anymore for anyone to follow, just like not being able to ask Hispanic's for their proper ID or providing illegal's access to all programs and unemployment benefits and SS allowances. Most people who live here and were born here feel the laws they have to follow are not being followed by others here illegally and rich fat cats have different laws they have to follow then why should any of us follow any of the laws anymore. They do not hold much meaning anymore to me, that I know. They are to keep you all at bay. GLTA here. Seems very unfair to me how this came down back in 2008 and again this week.
