Will post back tomorrow (almost out of juice), but there is some defined number like 70% or so that triggers it.

Merck would NEVER stop the trial early unless the DSMB decided to do so based on safety, futility, or a clear win.

The sponsor cutting a trial short is a huge no-no in the eyes of the FDA.
