expat...actually CSCO has been watching TPM.

it is right up their proverbial alley but the TPM market has been so small and 'irrelevant' that they haven't bothered.

all this has changed. The NSA has truly blessed the TPM architecture.
There is no disputing this assertion. More and more computing units are being shipped with the TPM. CSCO doesn't do anything by extension.

There are two facts involved in this little discussion. FACT ONE: CSCO has now incorporated TPM technology in their key product lines. CSCO doesn't do this unless they endorse it big time.

FACT TWO: Wave Systems is the #1 TPM software management company on the face of this planet. They have invested big money over the last
decade to make this so.

Now.....logic leads one to conclude that Wave Systems will somehow and in some way be in the thick of things as this whole TCG/TPM/NSA dynamic evolves. What will the endgame be? Who knows?

My gut tells me that it is one of two endgames:

(1) Wave Systems is bought out by one of the gorillas

(2) Wave Systems avoids (1) scenario above and becomes a big growth story for a number of years AND THEN:

gets bought out..

In the end, Wave Systems gets bought out. WHY?

Because their technology is too important and too intricately enmeshed with what is going on out there in terms of data security/integrity.

Just my humble opinion....
