With PVHO's 3D system you don't need special glasses to watch it. With Sony's 3D TV you need special glasses to watch it. That's the biggest difference. Also, PVHO is staying out of the television market as Sony, Panasonic, etc. have pretty much dominated the market.

PVHO is doing more advertising, consumer awareness, in-house branding, etc. The 3D is to catch the eye of the consumer in order to bring them over. Right now that is PVHO's biggest market.

PVHO is looking to break into the home entertainment gaming market (not yet utilized yet) for 'touchable' 3D gaming experience. The first of its kind. It sounds like any prototype development would be revolutionary as nothing like it exists today.

Reuters has a report on it as well as a few other news sources. PVHO is current the leader in touchable holography in the field. Reuters noted Provision Interactive regarding it. You can bet Microsoft will be purhcasing something (Microsoft has partnered with PVHO) once the prototype is ready.
