Price held down so Settlement looks good.
The Market Makers are holding the price down so that the forthcoming Low-Ball Settlement Offer will look reasonable compared to the price per share. This is intended to deceive the Judge and make the EC look bad when we refuse the Low-Ball Settlement Offer which will be thrown out as a Bone to the commons expecting us to either pounce greedily (and stupidly) upon it or look greedy and stupid in the eyes of the Judge. The offer will be framed as a "compromise" and "something" of purported value will be given up by one or more of the other parties (who will just take an accounting loss) in order to give the commons a little something. It will likely be between 1% and 10% of what we deserve. i.e. If $24 is the correct value then the offer will be between .24 cents and $2.40. You can do the math for your choice of value for WAMUQ stock. IMHO
