I don't know. The confusion in roles Williamson has imposed generates some new issues... not just in the time line in getting new lawyers up to speed... but in the differences that are likely to emerge when a new set of lawyers begins to dissect the mess they've made of this.

The question becomes one of how much Williamson's advice to Daic has been corrupted by his self interest... and the degree to which Daic was being put at risk with advice against his interest in order that Williamson's interest might be advanced.

What new lawyers make of that steaming pile of toxic waste they've generated... might be a lot different than what Williamson made of it, when his primary concern was his own interest... either in terms of sustaining his interest in participation, or in terms of his interest in avoiding the realization of the sort of risks that seem to be being realized now.

I think it is vastly more likely there will be a settlement after that point where some real lawyers have a look at it... seeing it from the perspective of the reality of the situation, rather than from a perspective that is dependent on engineering the failure of the other side to prosecute or defend its interest.
