there comes a time when eventually the market runs out of folks who are willing to sell the bottom of the chart. then the bounce comes.

imo we're very nearly there:

alpha and platinum must unload a certain number of conversions in order to receive their final tranches. that magic number is fast approaching. then they're free to sell those remaining shares as high as they want.
