the lower HLX's market cap gets, the more attractive it is to an acquirer. Sure they'll restructure the cap table, but the bump in valuation will leave everyone the same net net and the upside to value and trading once they're restructured will be enormous. I think this has bottomed out, especially if some of the other debt holders can convince St. George to do the right thing...
